Group Camp-Ins
Where the fun lasts all-night-long!
Groups of 50-175 will experience an overnight camp out unlike any other.
All Camp-ins include:

Space Dome Planetarium Show

Free Exploration in Sci-Port's 92,000 square feet

Staff led activities during the night

Movies during lights out for those who want to stay awake all night

How to Register:

Select your Theme
- Call (318) 424-8660 to set up your Camp-In date.
- Inquire about your optional evening meal
- Submit your deposit
- Get ready for a full night of fun!
Group Camp-In Dates: See below or call for specific dates.
Group Camp-In Fees: $45 per camper
Chaperones: Four Chaperones for every 25 campers included free of charge, additional chaperones are $15 per person (a chaperone is 18 years of age and up)
Scout Groups: Please go to the Scout Shout section for chaperone requirements, pricing, and information.
Payment Procedure: 50% deposit at time of reservation or $200. Balance due two weeks prior to Camp-In date.
Optional Dinner available prior to the camp-in for $5.50 per person, call (318) 424-8669 for menu. (Must order and pay for dinners at least two weeks in advance.)
Group Camp-in Themes:
Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho A Pirates NIGHT for Me! (Recommended for grades 2nd - 8th)
For groups of 100 or less, one of the above activities may be substituted for telescope viewing on the Windham Family Rooftop Terrace.
- IMAX Film: Dolphins
- Catapults - Make your own catapult and launch marshmallows at enemy pirate ships.
- Sailing Spoons - Make and sail your own mini pirate ship using a spoon!
- Treasure Hunt - Follow the map to recover the long forgotten loot of the Sci-Port Phantom.
Create and Invent (Recommended for grades 2nd - 12th)
For groups of 100 or less, one of the above activities may be substituted for telescope viewing on the Windham Family Rooftop Terrace.
- IMAX Film
- Dr. Heartbeat Robotics - Program a robot to perform surgery in a larger than life circulatory system!
- Marble Rollercoaster's - Invent your own rollercoaster and send marbles on a wild ride.
- Rescue Mission - Design a "fishing hook" to rescue a film canister.
Star Search (Recommended for grades 2nd - 8th)
For groups of 100 or less, one of the above activities may be substituted for telescope viewing on the Windham Family Rooftop Terrace.
- IMAX Film: Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon
- Planispheres - Create your own map of the stars!
- Planetary Bracelets - Make a solar system you can wear on your wrist.
- Constellation Tubes - Make your own pocket constellation!
Lost in Space (Recommended for grades 6th - 12th)
For groups of 100 or less, one of the above activities may be substituted for telescope viewing on the Windham Family Rooftop Terrace.
- IMAX Film: Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon
- Hovering Galaxy - Make a galactic room decoration with the different types of galaxies.
- Interstellar Frisbees - Create your own proto-planetary flying disk!
- Mystery Stars - Crack the spectral code of your very own mystery star!
