Program Catalog

Sci-Port's educational programs are easily integrated into the learning cycle. They may be used as discovery and introduction to concepts, in concept formation or as part of the analysis and evaluation part of a lesson. Not all GLEs listed will be covered in their entirety; a program may only focus on a portion of a GLE. Download the Program Catalog for 2012-13! Demonstrations:  Our demonstrations can hold up to 60 students.

Labs:  Our labs feature hands-on exploration for up to 33 students.

Rasberry-Power Children's Gallery: Limited to 40 students, this area is reserved for our pre-school to 1st grade visitors with their chaperones. Due to the popularity of this gallery, reservations are required at the time of booking. Priority is given based on first-come, first-booked basis, and we cannot guarantee entry into this gallery for your students if you have not reserved the space prior to arriving. Each 45 minute session includes a 15 minute Creature Corner program. Teachers, also learn more about Pre-school Days at Sci-Port.

Dayna & Ronald L. Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium:  Your students can be part of the action in interactive programs or be WOW-ed by the movies in our digital Space Dome Planetarium.  All programs in our planetarium can accommodate up to 60 students.
