DeSoto Parish Police Jury to sponsor free admission to Sci-Port on first Saturday of each month for parish residents

Beginning Saturday, March 3, residents of DeSoto Parish will have free admission to Sci-Port: Louisiana's Science Center on the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.  This has been made possible by the DeSoto Parish Police Jury.

Visitors must show proof of residency in DeSoto Parish to receive free admission. Admission to Sci-Port includes access to over 290 hands-on exhibits, daily interactive programs and demonstrations and the Dayna and Ronald L. Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium. Admission does not include access to BODIES REVEALED, the Center's latest Traveling Exhibition.  Please visit for the Exhibition's admission prices.
